The KICK Korea Semiconductor Index ETF arrived on September 9, 2026 as the sole ETF launch of the day. It is an equity fund built around a single-country, single-sector thesis: Korean semiconductor companies and nothing else.

A 0.65% net expense ratio is the price of admission for that focus. For context, that is the all-in annual cost a shareholder pays for the fund to track its index, expressed as a fraction of assets held.

Single-country semiconductor funds sit at the narrow end of the concentration spectrum in ETF wrappers. Owning one means the portfolio rises and falls almost entirely on the fortunes of Korean chipmakers, with no built-in diversification across geographies or other technology subsectors to cushion swings.

For investors already expressing a view on artificial intelligence hardware or memory chip demand cycles, the fund offers a targeted vehicle for that thesis. The tradeoff is straightforward: higher potential precision, higher concentration risk.
