Wyndham Hotels & Resorts posted adjusted diluted EPS of $1.43 for Q3 2026, beating expectations, with revenue also coming in above estimates. The quarter extends a streak: the company has topped EPS estimates in each of the past eight reported quarters.

The clearest operational driver was a 6% rise in U.S. RevPAR to $58.35, with broad-based improvement across nearly all domestic regions. Royalties and franchise fees also grew 6% year over year, reflecting the direct link between occupancy and pricing trends and the fee income Wyndham collects as a franchisor rather than a hotel owner. That asset-light structure means stronger RevPAR flows almost directly to the bottom line.

A $17 million marketing fund variability headwind pushed reported adjusted EBITDA down 3% compared with the prior year period. Stripping out that effect, adjusted EBITDA grew on a comparable basis, which gives a cleaner read on the underlying business momentum.

The development pipeline reached a record approximately 264,000 rooms and carries a meaningful FeePAR premium to the existing system, with most of those rooms in midscale and above segments or extended stay, where fee rates are higher. The pipeline is effectively a forward look at future royalty income, which is what long-term investors in an asset-light franchisor are most focused on.

Management raised full-year 2026 adjusted diluted EPS guidance to $4.84 to $4.92 and lifted the adjusted EBITDA outlook. The board also approved a $400 million increase in the share repurchase authorization, and Wyndham kept buying back stock during the quarter.
