Markets in Europe were narrowly mixed at 6.10 AM New York time.

The FTSE was down .3% to 6,304. Barclays was down .8% to 721.5. BPwas down .6% to 554.5. BT was flat at 304. GSK was up .1% to 1391.Prudential was up .2% to 715. Reuters was up .3% to 460.5. Unilever wasup .3% to 1521. Vodafone was off 3.1% to 137.2.

The DAXX was up .1% to 6,901. Bayer was up .8% to 48.06. Daimler wasdown .2% to 61.1. DB was up .9% to 100.92. DT was up .2% to 12.43. SAPwas down .4% to 33.38. Siemens was down .2% to 79.65.

The CAC 40 was down .2% to 5,618. Alcatel-Lucent was down 1.1% to8.83. AXA was down .8% to 31.55. France Telecom was down .2% to 19.67.ST Micro was up .3% to 14.45. Vivendi was flat at 30.26.
