Did ACVA Beat Earnings? Q1 2026 Results
ACV Auctions Inc. posted a strong first quarter for fiscal 2026, beating Wall Street expectations on both the top and bottom lines as the digital wholesale vehicle marketplace continued to win dealer share and deepen its services mix. The company reported earnings per share of $0.04, clearing the $0.03 consensus estimate by 25.39%, while revenue of $204.19 million edged past the $201.70 million forecast and grew 11.8% year over year. The primary engine behind the results was continued market share gains in dealer wholesale paired with robust adoption of Marketplace Services, with Customer Assurance Revenue alone climbing to $21.98 million from $16.76 million a year ago. Adjusted EBITDA of $17.10 million came in above the high end of prior guidance, and operating cash flow strengthened to $76.51 million. Management also authorized a $100 million share repurchase program, planning an initial $50 million accelerated buyback. Looking ahead, ACV reaffirmed full-year 2026 revenue guidance of $845 million to $855 million, though it flagged a steeper-than-expected mid-single-digit decline in the broader dealer wholesale market as a watchpoint for the year.
