HF Sinclair Corporation is an independent energy company that produces and markets high-value light products including gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel, renewable diesel, and lubricants and specialty products. The company owns and operates seven refineries located in Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Wyoming, Washington, and Utah with a consolidated crude capacity of 678,000 barrels per stream day. HF Sinclair's operations span five segments: Refining, Renewables, Marketing, Lubricants & Specialties, and Midstream. The company produces renewable diesel at facilities in Wyoming and New Mexico. Through its Marketing segment, it supplies high-quality fuels to more than 1,800 branded Sinclair stations and licenses the brand to over 350 additional locations across more than 30 states. The Lubricants & Specialties segment produces and markets base oils and specialized lubricants in the U.S., Canada, and the Netherlands, exporting to more than 80 countries, and includes well-known brands such as Petro-Canada Lubricants, Sinclair Lubricants, Red Giant Oil, Sonneborn, and Industrial Oils Unlimited. The Midstream segment, operated through wholly-owned subsidiary Holly Energy Partners, L.P., provides petroleum product and crude oil transportation, terminalling, storage, and throughput services primarily in the Mid-Continent, Southwest, and Rocky Mountains regions. The company is pursuing a strategic separation of its Lubricants & Specialties segment into an independent publicly traded company, targeted for completion in H2 2027, while retiring its base oil refining assets in Mississauga, Ontario.
