Forward Guidance & Outlook
For full year 2026, Ecolab expects adjusted diluted EPS of $8.43 to $8.63, representing 12% to 15% growth versus $7.53 in 2025. This includes approximately $0.13 per share impact from non-cash amortization related to the Ovivo Electronics acquisition. Reported sales are expected to increase 7% to 9%, with organic sales growth of 3% to 4% accelerating through the year. Adjusted operating income is anticipated to increase 14% to 16%, with 100 to 150 basis points of operating income margin expansion targeting 19%+ margins. The adjusted tax rate is expected at 20.5% to 21.5%. For Q1 2026, adjusted diluted EPS is expected in the $1.67 to $1.73 range, up 11% to 15%. Special charges in 2026 are anticipated at approximately $0.55 to $0.60 per share. Long-term targets include organic sales growth of 5-7%, OI margin expansion of 100-150 bps per year toward 20%+, and adjusted EPS growth of 12-15%. One Ecolab annualized savings are now expected to reach $325 million by 2027, up from the prior $225 million target.
