About Enlight Renewable Energy
Enlight Renewable Energy develops, finances, constructs, owns and operates utility-scale renewable energy projects in solar, wind and battery energy storage. It operates in the United States, Israel and 12 European countries. Over the past year its mature portfolio has entered Germany, Poland, Romania and Finland through storage projects.
Revenue comes mainly from electricity sales, largely under long-term PPAs. The company also runs a low-margin electricity trading business in Israel and recognizes income from U.S. tax benefits (ITC/PTC) through tax equity structures.
The total portfolio is 46.2 FGW: about 23.1 GW of generation and 80.9 GWh of storage. Of this:
- 4.0 FGW is operating.
- 5.6 FGW is under construction.
- 3.1 FGW is in pre-construction.
- 8.6 FGW is in advanced development.
Its largest U.S. project is the roughly 2.4 FGW CO-Bar complex in Arizona, which has PPAs with SRP and APS. Other U.S. projects include Snowflake A, Country Acres, Crimson Orchard, Atrisco and Blackwater in Virginia. Its U.S. development platform, Clenera, is expanding into PJM, SPP and MISO.
The company follows a 'Connect & Expand' strategy of adding projects at its existing grid interconnections. It is also building a pipeline of AI data centers of about 2 GW IT located near its generation assets.
Enlight is dual-listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and Nasdaq under the ticker ENLT. Updated
