About Immuneering
Immuneering Corporation (Nasdaq: IMRX) is a late-stage clinical oncology company with no product revenue. Its initial focus is patients with RAS, RAF and other MAPK-driven cancers.
The company is developing a new category of cancer medicines it calls Deep Cyclic Inhibitors (DCIs). These are designed to improve overall survival in three ways: shrinking tumors durably with less resistance, preserving body mass by countering cachexia, and minimizing side effects to support performance status and combination use.
Its lead product candidate, atebimetinib, is an oral, once-daily Deep Cyclic Inhibitor of MEK, which the company describes as a third-generation MEK inhibitor. Atebimetinib is being evaluated in:
- MAPKeeper 301, a global randomized pivotal Phase 3 trial combining it with modified gemcitabine/nab-paclitaxel in first-line metastatic pancreatic cancer, now targeting about 570 patients.
- An ongoing Phase 2 first-line pancreatic cancer trial.
- A planned Phase 2 trial with the anti-PD-1 antibody cemiplimab in lung cancer.
The pipeline also includes other combination opportunities and preclinical programs, including a next DCI candidate expected to enter IND-enabling studies in mid-2027. The company funds operations from its cash and marketable securities. Updated
