NACCO Industries is a diversified natural resources company that delivers aggregates, minerals, reliable fuels and environmental solutions through its NACCO Natural Resources businesses. It operates three reportable segments.

- **Utility Coal Mining** (North American Coal) runs surface coal mines under long-term contracts for power plants. This includes the consolidated Mississippi Lignite Mining Company and unconsolidated operations such as Coteau, Falkirk and Sabine.

- **Minerals and Royalties** (Catapult Mineral Partners) holds a diversified portfolio of U.S. oil and gas mineral and royalty interests, plus an equity investment in Eiger Resources.

Unallocated activities include Mitigation Resources of North America, which provides stream and wetland mitigation credits and restoration and reclamation services.
