Asia Markets Rise Sharply, China Mobile Up Over 5% 4/16/2007

Most markets in Asia were up well over 1%.
The Nikkei was up 1.5% to 17,628. Canon was up 2.6% to 6620. Hitachi was up 1.3% to 922. Honda was up 1.5% to 4050. NTT was up 1.5% to 620000. Softbank was down .7% to 2670. Sony was up .6% to 6550. Toyota was up 1% to 7220.
The Hang Seng rose 1.9% to 20.738. China Mobile rose 5.7% to 75.2. HSBC rose 1.6% to 142.9. PCCW was up 1.2% to 4.94.
The Shanghai Composite rose 2.2% to 3,586.
