Markets in Europe were up modestly at 5.45 AM New York time.
The FTSE rose .4% to 6,490.
Barclays was up 1.2% to 752.5. BP was down .4% to 573.5. BT was up .6% to 312. GSK was up .2% to 1470. Reuters was up .7% to 502.5. Vodafone was up .7% to 139.6.
The DAXX rose .7% to 7,285. Daimler was down .7% to 60.36. DB was up 1.6% to 106.66. DT was up .5% to 13.2 Siemens was up 2% to 87.37.
The CAC 40 was up .6% to 5,826. Alcatel-Lucent was up 1% to 9.23. AXA was up 1.5% to 33.79. France Telecom was down .4% to 20.71. ST Micro was up .7% to 15.11.
