Markets in Asia were up modestly. The Nikkei rose a fraction to 17,455. Canon (CAJ) was flat at 6,560. Honda (HMC) was up .7% to 4120. NEC (NIPNY) was down .2% to 647. NTT (NTT) was down .8% to 602000.…
Markets in Asia were up modestly. The Nikkei rose a fraction to 17,455. Canon (CAJ) was flat at 6,560. Honda (HMC) was up .7% to 4120. NEC (NIPNY) was down .2% to 647. NTT (NTT) was down .8% to 602000. Softbank was down 1.4% to 2520. Sony (SNE) was up .5% to 6490. Toyota (TM) was up .4% to 7410.
The Hang Seng was up .3% to 20,625. China Life (LFC) was up .8% to 25.05. China Mobile (CHL) was down 2.8% to 72.8. HSBC (HBC) was up .3% to 245. PCCW (PCW) was up 1% to 4.88.
The Shanghai Composite rose 3.5% to 3,711.
