The number of analyst calls ahead of the three-day weekend are fairly small, as you would expect.  Some of this Friday’s top analyst research calls with upgrades, downgrades, and initiations seen from Wall Street firms are as follows:

Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARNA) Raised To Outperform at Leerink Swann.
BJ’s Wholesale Club Inc. (NYSE: BJ) Raised to Neutral at Goldman Sachs.
BP plc (NYSE: BP) Maintained Buy but target cut to $41 at Benchmark.
Central European Distribution Corp. (NASDAQ: CEDC) Raised to Overweight at JPMorgan.
Garmin Ltd. (NASDAQ: GRMN) Cut to Underperform at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch.
Novartis AG (NYSE: NVS) Raised to Buy at Soc-Gen.
NVIDIA Corp. (NASDAQ: NVDA) Cut targets by Needham.
