Top Active Trader Alert Stocks (AAPL, CAG, GXDX, MMYT, SNDK, TNAV, TSTR, VVUS)

Active traders and day traders have many stocks to focus on this morning.  We are watching key moves in shares of Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL), ConAgra Foods (NYSE: CAG), Genoptix, Inc. (NASDAQ: GXDX), MakeMyTrip Limited (NASDAQ: MMYT), SanDisk Corp. (NASDAQ: SNDK), TeleNav, Inc. (NASDAQ: TNAV), TerreStar Corporation (NASDAQ: TSTR) and Vivus, Inc. (NASDAQ: VVUS).

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) is trading higher after being Started as Buy at Canaccord with a $356 target.  Shares hit a 52-week high and an all-time high of $283.78 yesterday.  The stock is actually a tad lower after being up in pre-market trading in earlier indications.

ConAgra Foods (NYSE: CAG) posted $0.34EPS, short of estimates and it lowered its Fiscal-2011 guidance.  The company did raise its dividend but shares are down almost 5% at $21.26.

Genoptix, Inc. (NASDAQ: GXDX) is trading lower ahead of the 2010 UBS Global Life Sciences Conference at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City.  Shares are down 14.6% at $14.00 in pre-market trading indications.

MakeMyTrip Limited (NASDAQ: MMYT) is trading lower after Soleil Securities downgraded the rating to Hold, unusual considering how short it has been public.  The channel and related checks point to order deceleration of some sort.  Shares of the ADRS are down around $36.50 versus a close of $37.77 and versus a post-IPO trading range since mid-August of $20.45 to $40.47.

SanDisk Corp. (NASDAQ: SNDK) is trading lower after the pure-play on flash memory saw its shares cut to “Neutral” at Stern Agee.  Shares are down 2.4% at $36.84.

TeleNav, Inc. (NASDAQ: TNAV) had rapidly become one of 2010’s worst IPOs, yet the news or fears of the news that killed it previously is now helping it trade higher.  The company extended its navigation services deal with Sprint Nextel.  Shares are trading higher by 14% at $5.78.

TerreStar Corporation (NASDAQ: TSTR) is surging on word that AT&T will start selling its TerreStar Genus satellite phone as a backup for those who are outside of normal coverage for back-up but only as a service aimed via satellite inside the US.  Shares are up 46% at $0.38.

Vivus, Inc. (NASDAQ: VVUS) is trading up 9.5% at $6.77 on active volume after it showed positive top-line results from a two-year study of QNEXA as a therapy for treatment of obesity despite the FDA issues seen in obesity drugs this year.
