Hot Apple Rumors 11/5

From AppleInsider:  Get ready for cool new iPhone games.  The site found an Apple patent application that “describes iPhone games that would use the device’s many sensors and capabilities — including motion detection, GPS and camera — to offer a new way to play and compete with friends in a real-life 3D space.”  Games would involve multiple iPhones. This could be serious trouble for game console makers including Nintendo,  Sony (NYSE:SNE) and Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) if this comes to fruition.

From AppleInsider:  Apple is being accused in a class action lawsuit of offering an iOS 4 update to Apple 3G users so that the smartphones would become a “virtually useless iBrick.”   The company is aware of the problem and Steve Jobs said in September that the bug would be fixed in the release  of  iOS 4.  Testing “seemed to resolve some of the sluggishness that users were reporting,”   the site says.
