Next Week's Must See Earnings Previews (NYX, TEVA, OPEN, KO, CSCO, WFMI, JASO, PEP, PM, S, KFT)

Earnings season is actually close to winding down for the December quarter.  We still have many late reports coming out for the December quarter and year-end.  We have identified 11 of the top earnings for investors and traders to watch in the week ahead.  These are NYSE Euronext (NYSE: NYX), Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Limited (NASDAQ: TEVA), OpenTable, Inc. (NASDAQ: OPEN),  The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE: KO), Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CSCO), Whole Foods Market, Inc. (NASDAQ: WFMI), JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. (NASDAQ: JASO), Pepsico, Inc. (NYSE: PEP), Philip Morris International (NYSE: PM), Sprint Nextel Corporation (NYSE: S), and Kraft Foods Inc. (NYSE: KFT).

We have offered estimates from Thomson Reuters and shown how each of these stocks have performed over the last quarter.

Tuesday morning comes earnings from the stock exchange via NYSE Euronext (NYSE: NYX).  Thomson Reuters has estimates of $0.43 EPS and $611.97 million in revenues; estimates for the current quarter underway are $0.55 EPS and $648.9 million in revenue.  Over the last 90-days, shares are up roughly 7%.

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Limited (NASDAQ: TEVA) reports on Tuesday morning and Thomson Reuters has estimates of $1.29 EPS and $4.65 billion in revenues; estimates for the current quarter underway are $1.23 EPS and $4.52 billion in revenue.  Over the last 90-days, shares are up roughly 7%.

OpenTable, Inc. (NASDAQ: OPEN) is far from a market mover, but shares are up well over 20%% from the lows of the year and shares hit a new all-time high of $85.95 on Friday.  Earnings are due Tuesday afternoon and Thomson Reuters has estimates of $0.21 EPS and $30.18 million in revenues; estimates for the current quarter underway are $0.25 EPS and $33.03 million in revenue.  Over the last 90-days, shares are up over 40%.  Again, no market mover here but definitely one for the active traders to watch.

The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE: KO) is due with earnings on Wednesday morning.  Thomson Reuters has estimates of $0.72 EPS and $9.75 billion in revenues; estimates for the current quarter underway are $0.85 EPS and $10.37 billion in revenue.  Over the last 90-days, shares are up roughly 2%.

Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CSCO) reports after the close on Wednesday and Thomson Reuters has estimates of $0.35 EPS and $10.23 billion in revenues; estimates for the current quarter underway are $0.39 EPS and $10.84 billion in revenue.  Over the last 90-days, shares are down roughly 4% due to the last earnings call.  The good news is that shares are up over 15% from the post-earnings lows. Watch out for news of that dividend!

Whole Foods Market, Inc. (NASDAQ: WFMI)    reports on Wednesday afternoon and Thomson Reuters has estimates for the organic and luxury supermarket of $0.45 EPS and $2.98 billion in revenues; estimates for the current quarter underway are $0.44 EPS and $2.33 billion in revenue.  Over the last 90-days its shares are up roughly 30%, but half of that gain is due to its last earnings report.

Thursday morning comes JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. (NASDAQ: JASO) and we’ll get to see if the gains in solar shares can continue.  Thomson Reuters has estimates of $0.48 EPS and $569.21 million in revenues; estimates for the current quarter underway are $0.33 EPS and $505.18 million in revenue.  Over the last 90-days, shares are down roughly 12%.

Pepsico, Inc. (NYSE: PEP) reports Thursday morning.  Thomson Reuters has estimates of $1.04 EPS and $17.64 billion in revenues; estimates for the current quarter underway are $0.85 EPS and $11.78 billion in revenue.  Over the last 90-days, shares are down roughly 2%.

Philip Morris International (NYSE: PM) is due Thursday morning and Thomson Reuters has estimates of $0.96 EPS and $7.26 billion in revenues; estimates for the current quarter underway are $1.03 EPS and $6.86 billion in revenue.  Over the last 90-days, shares are up roughly 2%.

Sprint Nextel Corporation (NYSE: S) is due next Thursday morning and we’ll get to see how the turnaround that never turns around is doing.  Thomson Reuters has estimates of -$0.30 EPS and $8.17 billion in revenues; estimates for the current quarter underway are -$0.19 EPS and $8.07 billion in revenue.  Over the last 90-days, shares are up roughly 6%.  Sprint remains a turnaround which will not turn around.

Kraft Foods Inc. (NYSE: KFT) is due Thursday after the close and we’ll get to see how the merger integration is working out.  As a reminder, the sales and earnings may not have caught up by analysts against reality as you often see after mergers.  Thomson Reuters has estimates of $0.46 EPS and $13.46 billion in revenues; estimates for the current quarter underway are $0.52 EPS and $12.48 billion in revenue.  Over the last 90-days, shares are flat to down about 1%.
