Active traders and day traders have many stocks to choose from this Tuesday morning.  We are tracking news and moves in shares of Gulf Resources, Inc. (NASDAQ: GFRE), Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE: HPQ), Sino Clean Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCEI), and Vermillion, Inc. (NASDAQ: VRML).

Gulf Resources, Inc. (NASDAQ: GFRE) is up 17% premarket to $3.53, relative to a 52-week range of $2.30-$11.30. The company posted strong Q1 profit.

Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE: HPQ) is down more than 5% premarket. the company reported its quarterly earnings this morning. Quarterly earnings were better than expectations, but the company cut its FY guidance significantly.

Sino Clean Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCEI) is up 20% premarket to $2.88, relative to a 52-week range of $1.68-$9.67. The company announced Q1 results with very positive earnings and revenue.

Vermillion, Inc. (NASDAQ: VRML) is up more than 10% premarket on moderate volume to $5.44, relative to a 52-week range of $3.33-$20.85. The company recently won a patent for an artery disease treatment.
