The state of Kansas will lose about 2,000 jobs when Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA) closes its plant in Wichita, but Canadian-based aircraft maker Bombardier Inc. (OTC: BDRAF) will pick up some of the slack. The Canadian maker plans to add 400 jobs at its Wichita Learjet plant.

Bombardier cut more than 800 workers at the plant in 2009. The company will reap state and local incentives worth $16 million for the added workers.
