Iran’s oil minister said his nation would stop oil exports to EU nations. This would be in retaliation for sanctions against the exporter brought on by its nuclear development program.
But Rostam Ghasemi will not give a time when the exports may end. He also disputes that some members of the nation’s parliament will try to block his plans.
Mr Ghasemi’s comments will fuel suspicions that the Islamic regime may only symbolically pre-empt the European Union oil embargo.
