UiPath (NYSE:PATH | PATH Price Prediction) stock jumped 5% to $12.90 on Wednesday after the company announced expanded work with BDO USA and a deeper integration with Snowflake. Snowflake (NYSE:SNOW) shares also advanced 5% to $347.38, while Salesforce (NYSE:CRM) stock moved up 3% to $232.68. Software and data-platform names found support as investors digested the latest partnership updates.
The iShares Expanded Tech-Software Sector ETF (BATS:IGV) rose 2% to $107.16. Broader markets posted a modest gain, with the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (NYSE ARCA:SPY) up 0.58% to $768.63. UiPath’s announcements centered on agentic AI solutions for audit and compliance functions alongside a two-way data integration that connects its automation platform with Snowflake’s governed data environment.
UiPath Expands BDO Collaboration
UiPath and BDO USA expanded their partnership to build agentic solution accelerators focused on continuous monitoring and testing. The companies plan to create AI agents that help automate risk management, controls transformation, enterprise compliance, and other functions tied to the Office of the CFO. The Agentic Internal Audit Solution Accelerators target both IT Application Controls and IT General Controls.
The tools are designed to shift manual testing cycles toward agent-driven execution supported by professional review. They aim to monitor controls, collect evidence, execute testing procedures, and surface exceptions more efficiently across ERP, SaaS, cloud, and compliance environments. BDO serves as a customer, consultant, and go-to-market partner in the effort.
Snowflake Integration Broadens Data Access
UiPath and Snowflake announced a two-way integration now available on the Snowflake Marketplace. The expansion builds on an earlier connection with Snowflake Cortex AI and allows customers to bring Snowflake data into UiPath automations while triggering those automations directly from Snowflake. The setup requires no data copying between the systems.
UiPath Data Fabric enables zero-copy access so enterprise context flows into the UiPath Platform in real time while the underlying data remains in Snowflake. Additional tools such as UiPath Cartographer help teams discover and use Snowflake data throughout the automation lifecycle. The integration emphasizes governance, access controls, and auditability for agentic workflows.
Salesforce Also Participates in Software Strength
Salesforce stock posted a solid gain on the day. The company provides customer-relationship management software and a broad cloud platform that includes analytics, commerce, and AI capabilities. Salesforce shares have benefited from ongoing enterprise demand for integrated software suites even as individual names respond to their own product and partnership news.
Both UiPath and Snowflake operate in overlapping areas of data and automation, while Salesforce competes more broadly across enterprise applications. The session’s moves reflected selective strength within the software group rather than a uniform sector rally.
Outlook and Investor Considerations
The BDO and Snowflake updates reinforce UiPath’s focus on agentic automation and governed data connections. Analyst estimate revisions and valuation debates have accompanied recent share-price swings, with some commentary suggesting the stock appears undervalued after a sharp pullback. Execution on the new partnerships and conversion into recurring revenue will remain important markers.
Investors should consider keeping their position sizes modest given the volatility typical of software and automation stocks. Further commercial traction with enterprise partners could support UiPath stock and Snowflake stock, while any slowdown in adoption or competitive pressure may weigh on sentiment across the group.
