Market Movers

The biggest moves of the day, and which of them actually mean something.

Every trading day sees positions moving by 10%, 20%, or more. Some are soaring and others are crashing, and behind each of those moves is a reason worth understanding. Market Movers finds the reality behind each of these big movements and explains them to investors like you. We use frontier AI models running against proprietary data and real-time market feeds to identify the day's largest gainers and decliners across individual equities, ETFs, and the broad market, and a human editor manages and reviews every one of them for accuracy before it publishes. You get the move and the reason for it: the earnings result, the filing, the guidance change, the sector rotation, or the flow of money that put the name on the list. The goal is to finish the day knowing what moved, why it moved, and what that means for the positions you hold and the ones you are considering.

How this desk works

Proprietary data, real-time market feeds, and frontier AI models used to surface the day's most significant moves across stocks, ETFs, and the broader markets, with every call reviewed and verified by a human editor before it publishes

The 'Market Movers' desk runs on a combination of our own proprietary data, real-time market feeds, and frontier AI models that scan listed equities through the trading day, alongside ETFs and the broader market benchmarks that put any single move in context. The models flag which positions are moving and, more importantly, which of those moves carry weight. Volume against average, float and liquidity, peer and sector behavior, and the filings, earnings, and news behind a move all factor into that judgment rather than percentage change alone. Every flagged position is then reviewed by a human editor before publication, who confirms what caused the move, checks it against primary sources including SEC filings, company disclosures, and exchange data, and supplies the context a raw screener cannot. Our goal is not simply to report the day's biggest numbers, but to tell you which moves changed something worth acting on.
