Pre-Market Stock Futures:

Futures are trading lower this Friday, with the Nasdaq down almost 2.5% after a spooky day yesterday, as all major indices ended lower and most on Wall Street pointed to Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOG | GOOGL Price Prediction) as the culprit after the tech giant posted its worst third-quarter results in years. The shares closed Thursday at $283.82, down 12.64%, and are trading lower this morning at $281.10. Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT) posted outstanding results, and Wall Street cheered. Result? The stock also closed lower Thursday, down 0.87% to $530.14, and is trading at $527.52 in pre-market action.

After the bell Thursday, Amazon.com (NASDAQ: AMZN) joined the tech giants in missing earnings estimates; it closed the day lower at $243.79, down 4.25%, and is trading down 6.78% in pre-market hours at $227.25. Not to be left out of the mega-cap tech blow-up, Intel Corporation (NASDAQ: INTC) also beat Wall Street estimates, but its forward guidance did not go over well. Shares ended Thursday at $92.07, down 3.63%, and are trading in the pre-market session at $68.26, down almost 26%%. To round out the tech swoon, SanDisk Corporation (NASDAQ: SNDK) delivered a massive double beat on both the top and bottom lines, fueled by surging AI data center demand. Alongside these strong financial results, the company also announced a major 8-for-1 forward stock split. However, shares closed Thursday at $1,330, down 5.32%, and are down an additional 8.50% in pre-market trading to $1,215.

Mega-cap integrated oil takes the stage this morning, with earnings from ExxonMobil (NYSE: XOM) and Chevron (NYSE: CVX), as we wrap up October on Halloween Eve.
