So far the 2010 hurricane season has left the United States unscathed. That may not be the case for long. Hurricane Danielle appears to be headed north in the Atlantic and is expected to hook back away from land. Tropical storm Earl may strengthen or it may not. Its six day cone is expected to move west and then north, but it will be some time before we know its path and whether or not it poses a threat to the United States. The worry is the third one…. NOAA gives this a good chance of becoming a tropical depression in the next couple of days and it gives a 60% chance of it forming a tropical cyclone over the next 48 hours. We do not have a projected path for it yet, but it looks as though there are going to be three Atlantic storms to watch at once.
