The track — which samples Brazilian guitarist Luiz Bonfa’s 1967 song “Seville” — spent an impressive 44 weeks in the Top 40 and eight weeks at No. 1. “Somebody That I Used to Know” also won the awards for Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards.
