By now, most people know the story of Pinocchio, a puppet who dreams of becoming a real boy. The story was originally written by Italian writer Carlo Colladi and is well known for its classic Disney adaptation released in 1940. The 2022 remake will be a live-action adaptation.

The book has been adapted numerous times, most famously the 1939 classic starring Judy Garland. The 2022 Spanish film “Rainbow” is a free adaptation of the novel and tells the story of a modern day Dorothy as she faces the challenges of growing up. It will be distributed by Netflix.
