TechCrunch reports that search firm Powerset is after Google’s (GOOG) market by offering natural language search. The tech site points out that many critics see flaws in the new company’s plans.
TechCruch tested the new version of Microsoft (MSFT) e-mail, Windows Live Hotmail, against Google’s (GOOG) mail product and Yahoo! (YHOO) mail. The tech site prefered Gmail, although it has the fewest users at 51 million. Yahoo! has 250 million mail user and Microsoft 228 million.
Gizmodo reports that Microsoft (MSFT) has submitted a proposal to the FCC that would seem to make a Zune phone more likely.
