Apple: The first trillion is the hardest

Note the gap between share price and market cap. That’s caused by Apple buying its own stock and lowering the share count.

 

My take: To give you a sense of the scale of things, the tax cut the Republicans passed and the President signed last year added roughly the value of Apple to the national debt.
