Apple iPhone 5 Price & Available Dates Now Released

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) has confirmed in the last hour that its highly awaited iPhone 5 is here.  Now we have the pricing plans as it will be on all 3 of the major carriers AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T), Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE: VZ), and Sprint Nextel Corporation (NYSE: S).

The iPhone 5 comes in either white & silver or black & slate, and will be available in the US for $199 for the 16GB model and $299 for the 32GB model. The 64GB model will be $399 at the Apple Online Store, Apple’s retail stores, and through AT&T, Sprint, Verizon Wireless and select Apple Authorized Resellers.   The iPhone 5 will also be available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and the UK.  The launches are set for Friday, September 21 with pre-orders being accepted Friday, September 14.

For those who are fine with last year’s phone, the iPhone 4S will also be available for just $99 and free with a two-year contract.

iOS 6 software will be available on Wednesday, September 19 as a free software update.

iPhone 5 will roll out worldwide to 22 more countries on September 28, including Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
