The Nasdaq OMX Group Inc. (NASDAQ: NDAQ) will make some changes to its Nasdaq Q-50 index next Monday, June 18th. The index will add Analog Devices Inc. (NASDAQ: ADI), Fortinet Inc. (NASDAQ: FTNT), IAC/InterActiveCorp (NASDAQ: IACI), Lincoln Electric Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: LECO), NetEase Inc. (NASDAQ: NTES), and Patterson Companies Inc. (NASDAQ: PDCO) to the Q-50.
The change will lead to the removal of four firms from the index: ARM Holdings plc (NASDAQ: ARMH), FLIR Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: FLIR), Gentex Corp. (NASDAQ: GNTX), and Royal Gold Inc. (NASDAQ: RGLD).
The Q-50 index tracks the performance of 50 stocks that are next in line to replace securities on the Nasdaq-100 index. The Q-50 is adjusted quarterly.
