Baidu's second-quarter 2026 adjusted EPS of $1.07 came in far below the $9.84 consensus, missing expectations by a wide margin. Revenue declined 4.2% year over year as the shift away from the legacy internet business drags on.

A collapse in other income, hit by weaker fair value gains and foreign exchange losses, pulled GAAP net income down 68% year over year.

Capital expenditures tripled year over year to $1.69 billion, pushing free cash flow negative even as GPU Cloud revenue accelerated.
