Benchmark Electronics posted record quarterly revenue of $810.9 million in Q3 2026, up 19% year over year and beating expectations. Adjusted EPS of $0.84 also topped consensus, a fifth straight quarter of doing so.

Semiconductor Capital Equipment drove the quarter, growing to $241 million and now roughly 30% of total sales. Advanced Computing and Communications also expanded, pointing to the broadening demand CEO David Moezidis described across the portfolio.

Non-GAAP operating margin expanded to 5.5% from 4.8% a year ago, with earnings growing at nearly twice the rate of sales. That operating leverage, at scale, is what turns revenue growth into earnings growth.

For Q4 2026, Benchmark guided revenue of $815 million to $855 million, the second consecutive quarter the outlook has been raised. Full-year growth of roughly 16% pushes the company past the $3 billion annual revenue target it set just last quarter.

Inventories rose to $633.6 million from $482.5 million at year-end 2025 while free cash flow declined, as the company builds stock to support accelerating demand. The gap between earnings growth and cash generation is worth watching in the quarters ahead.
