As seen on the 24/7 Wall St. homepage on October 28, 2026.

Boston Scientific topped Wall Street estimates on both earnings and revenue for the sixth consecutive quarter, with adjusted EPS of $0.73. The beats were narrow, reflecting a company still functioning but clearly running at reduced speed after the cybersecurity incident it disclosed in August 2026.
The damage from that incident showed up unevenly across segments, with Urology and Endoscopy revenue declining while Neuromodulation and Cardiovascular grew. Overall revenue grew just 1.4% year over year, a sharp deceleration that underscores how much the cyber disruption constrained what would otherwise have been a stronger quarter.
GAAP results told a harsher story. Net income fell 22.9% year over year, weighed down by litigation and restructuring charges. The gap between the adjusted headline number and the GAAP reality is one investors will want to keep an eye on as the company absorbs the ongoing costs of its cyber response.

Management guided Q4 net sales to decline between 1% and 3%, meaning the streak of revenue growth is expected to pause entirely in the current quarter. Full-year 2026 adjusted EPS guidance and organic growth of roughly 3.75% suggest the company expects to contain the damage but has not yet turned the corner.
CEO Mike Mahoney acknowledged the difficulty directly, describing it as a challenging year while pointing to the response of global teams as a source of confidence. Pipeline developments, including FDA clearances for the Navigator Flex ureteral access sheath and LithoVue Elite ureteroscope, offer some longer-term support for the thesis. Near-term momentum hinges on how quickly operations normalize.
