Canadian Natural Resources touched $55.11 on October 26, eclipsing the prior 52-week high it had set just three sessions before on October 23. Back-to-back records in the span of a week signal that buying pressure has not let up, even after the stock's substantial run from the low $30s earlier in the year.
The stock spent much of the early part of the 52-week window trading in a narrow band near $30, then accelerated sharply through the spring and summer before continuing higher through the fall.

At the current price, the company carries a market capitalization of roughly $113.6 billion, making it one of the largest oil sands operators by value. A company of that size typically does not move this decisively without sustained institutional conviction behind the trade.
The stock is setting new highs in consecutive sessions rather than stalling after its first record touch. Momentum tends to attract momentum in large-cap energy names, and the absence of a meaningful pullback keeps the near-term picture constructive.
