Cintas set a new 52-week high at $217.03 on October 20, topping its prior peak from late July and completing a full recovery from its May low.
The late-spring selloff pushed Cintas well below where it had been trading at the start of the year, when the stock was above $190. The climb back from the May low through October has been steady, pointing to sustained buying rather than a speculative spike.
Cintas now carries a market capitalization of approximately $86 billion, well above most names in the uniform and facility services industry. Breaking to a 52-week high at that size reflects broad institutional conviction.
The prior 52-week high was set on July 29, and the stock has now exceeded that level by 0.49%. With no overhead resistance left to work through, the question is whether the breakout holds in subsequent sessions.
