New 52-week high$229.03+1.4% vs prior high · 2026-10-26
Cintas just set a record $229.03, clearing its October 26 peak by 1.37%, with the $90.9 billion uniform giant now well above the $163.80 low it touched in May.
A 4.49% slide to $215.12 is a heavy day for a low-beta uniform giant that rarely swings like this, trimming roughly $4 billion from an $85.3 billion market cap. Whether it holds this level into the close is the thing to watch.
A 5.2% intraday slide to $213.55 is a rare size of move for an $84.8 billion compounder that usually trades in quiet single-digit increments. The $225.23 open is now the level to watch on any bounce.
New 52-week high$217.03+0.5% vs prior high · 2026-07-29
Cintas just set a fresh 52-week high at $217.03, topping its late-July peak and completing a round trip from the $164 low it touched in May. The uniform and facility services name is now an $86 billion company trading at the top of its range.
Cintas beat estimates for a sixth straight quarter and raised full-year fiscal 2027 guidance to $5.45 to $5.54 in adjusted EPS, all before the pending UniFirst deal adds a dollar of revenue. The FTC review is the only thing standing between this run and a bigger uniform rental franchise.
Cintas reports at 8:30 AM ET, and the $79.6 billion uniform renter doubles as a read on service-sector hiring: its rental route volumes move with how many workers employers are actually putting in uniforms. Guidance on that demand matters more than the quarter itself.
Tuesday and Wednesday carry the week: AutoZone, KB Home, General Mills, Paychex and Cintas all report inside 48 hours, covering car repair budgets, new home demand, grocery pricing and small business payrolls in one stretch. Of the 24 companies on deck, 14 report before the open.
