Cricut reported Q3 2026 earnings per diluted share of $0.13 against a consensus estimate of roughly $0.05, a beat of nearly 187%. Revenue came in at $188.6 million, topping estimates of $172.0 million by about 10% and rising 11% from the same quarter a year ago. The outperformance spanned both the top and bottom line.

Hardware drove the results, with products revenue up 17% year over year to $102.7 million on the launches of the Maker 5 and StickerPix machines. Platform revenue, which captures subscriptions, grew roughly 4% to $85.9 million as paid subscribers climbed 2% to more than 3.07 million. Gross margin widened to 57.7% from 55.2%, and operating income jumped roughly 50% to $33.9 million.

International markets added notable lift, with international revenue rising 30% and accounting for 28% of total sales, up from 24% a year earlier. Active users reached nearly 6.0 million, also up 2%, while Platform average revenue per user rose 3% to $56.70. Double-digit sell-out growth for the second consecutive quarter points to real end-market demand behind the hardware momentum.

Management paired the results with a $0.70 special dividend and a $0.10 semi-annual dividend, both payable in January 2027, alongside a refreshed $50 million share repurchase authorization. During Q3 the company used $6.5 million to repurchase roughly 1.3 million shares. The capital returns signal that leadership views the current cash generation as durable.

Cricut offered no quantitative guidance for coming quarters. Management said the company's profitable model, strong balance sheet, and cash generation give it flexibility to keep investing in innovation, international expansion, and marketing. Investors will be watching whether the Maker 5 and StickerPix launches sustain hardware momentum into the holiday quarter and whether the 90-day engaged user count, which was flat year over year, begins to reflect subscriber gains.
