At $125.15, eBay has cleared its previous 52-week peak set on October 15 by 1.82%, putting it into price discovery with no historical overhead supply left to pressure sellers into the market.
Accumulation has been persistent: the stock spent much of the past year in the mid-$80s before pushing into triple digits and past $120 for the first time in the period.

A 52-week high matters structurally for investors. Pools of sellers who bought near the top and waited to break even are now gone, which historically reduces one source of selling pressure and lets momentum carry further than fundamental targets alone would suggest.
eBay is a $54.9 billion marketplace, and at this price level the market continues to reassess its value upward. Whether that reassessment holds depends on what the company delivers in upcoming earnings reports.
