Equinix posted Q3 2026 GAAP earnings per share of $4.93, beating expectations, though that figure includes a non-recurring fee earned in connection with the atNorth joint venture, partly offset by transaction, impairment and restructuring charges. Diluted AFFO per share, the metric REIT investors typically lean on, came in at $11.64, with revenue also topping estimates.

Annualized gross bookings hit a record $533 million, up 35% year over year, and monthly recurring revenue posted double-digit growth for the fourth consecutive quarter. Interconnection and Fabric revenue both grew, pointing to broad-based demand.

That demand momentum is what prompted a third consecutive guidance raise. Equinix now guides full-year 2026 revenues to roughly 12% growth, with AFFO per share and Q4 revenue guidance lifted as well.

Equinix also introduced new products during the quarter, including Equinix Fabric One, an any-to-any connectivity service with AWS and Google Cloud as lead integration partners, and Equinix Inference Exchange alongside NVIDIA and Together AI to deploy AI inferencing workloads globally. Nearly 40% more cabinets are planned for delivery in 2026 than the company initially anticipated, reflecting how quickly it is trying to scale to meet AI and enterprise demand.

The balance sheet carries more weight than it did a year ago: total debt principal stood at $25.2 billion at quarter end, and heavy full-year capital expenditures keep free cash flow negative. Investors will want to track whether the record booking pace continues to justify that spending as power costs and supply chain constraints remain listed risks.
