Figma reported adjusted earnings per share of $0.10 for the third quarter of fiscal 2026, clearing the consensus estimate of $0.05 by 83%. Revenue of $391.4 million grew 42.8% year over year and came in $16.4 million above the high end of prior guidance, beating estimates by about 4%. It was the fourth consecutive quarter in which Figma topped EPS expectations.
The clearest engine behind those numbers is AI credit consumption. By the end of October, more than 80% of customers spending over $10,000 annually were actively consuming AI credits, and weekly active users in that cohort rose nearly 50% between July and October. Net dollar retention of 131% shows existing customers are spending more, not just staying put.
The high-value customer base is expanding alongside that engagement. Figma ended the quarter with 16,566 paid customers above the $10,000 annual recurring revenue threshold, up more than 3,650 year over year, while customers above $100,000 in ARR reached 1,717, up more than 450 year over year. Total MCP server usage tripled quarter over quarter, and write-back usage quadrupled, pointing to deeper platform integration across enterprise workflows.

Management raised full-year revenue guidance by $33 million to roughly $1.5 billion, implying about 42% full-year growth. For Q4 2026, Figma guided revenue of $402 million to $404 million, which implies 33% year-over-year growth at the midpoint. That deceleration from the current quarter's pace is worth watching, as is the pressure on gross margins: the non-GAAP gross margin fell to 82% from 86% a year ago as AI infrastructure costs rose.
On the profitability side, the picture is mixed. Figma generated $41.5 million in free cash flow during the quarter, but free cash flow margin slipped to 11% from 18% a year earlier. Full-year non-GAAP operating income is now guided at $158 million to $163 million, implying an 11% non-GAAP operating margin. CEO Dylan Field pointed to improving AI cost efficiency as a support for profitability going forward, and the company noted it has more than doubled the share of AI work handled by its own post-trained design model since July.
