Hong Kong took the entire hit in Asia today, shedding 1.17% while Shanghai finished dead flat. Offshore money is doing the repricing while mainland shares sit still.

The Hang Seng closed down 1.17%, with the index spending the bulk of the day in negative territory before edging back toward the close.

The SSE Composite in Shanghai finished essentially flat, up just 0.0015%. When offshore and onshore markets absorb the same backdrop so differently, offshore capital is doing the repricing.
