Karthik Sarma's SRS Investment Management disclosed a new bullish Tesla call position worth roughly $132.6 million, made public in an August 14 SEC filing.
SRS is a Tiger Cub fund tracing its lineage to Julian Robertson's Tiger Management, a tradition known for high-conviction, concentrated books, so opening a new name through options carries weight as a signal of directional confidence.

The Tesla call exposure was one of six new positions added during the quarter, while SRS exited Delta Air Lines and Global-E in a deliberate reshaping of the book. Sarma is already known for tolerating concentration risk, given the fund's widely noted Avis Budget stake.
Because the position is structured as bullish call options rather than common stock, SRS is expressing a view that Tesla shares will rise while limiting downside to the premium paid. The headline figure reflects notional value of the underlying shares, not necessarily the capital at risk.
