NetApp is handing shareholders the most cash today, about $102 million at 52 cents a share, landing October 28. Four other companies are paying out alongside it, bringing the day's total past $177 million.

Marvell Technology comes in second at roughly $52.6 million total, with its payment landing October 29, one day after NetApp's.
Science Applications International sends out about $15.5 million on October 23, while Farmers and Merchants Bancorp and NorthEast Community Bancorp each add smaller amounts later in the window.
For income-focused investors, the spread of payment dates from October 20 through November 13 means this single ex-date generates a staggered cash flow across nearly four weeks.
