Range Resources Q3 2026: Record Liquids Output Drives Double Beat
As seen on the 24/7 Wall St. homepage on October 28, 2026.
Record liquids production of 133,173 barrels per day carried Range to a double beat, with EPS and revenue both topping expectations. Net debt strengthens its hand ahead of the pending EQT merger, and there is no conference call this quarter because of the deal.

Range Resources posted adjusted earnings of $0.81 per share, beating expectations, with revenue also topping expectations. Both reflect the same underlying driver: a surge in production that the company had been building toward for several quarters.
The headline operational fact is record liquids production of 133,173 barrels per day, a figure that came in ahead of schedule as newly commissioned infrastructure in Range's liquids-rich Appalachian acreage came online during the quarter. Total output rose year over year, with NGL and oil volumes both climbing. That production mix matters because liquids generally carry stronger margins than dry gas, and it showed up clearly in the revenue line.
Range also cut net debt 35% from year-end 2025 to approximately $794 million while revenue and GAAP net income both grew year over year. Capital expenditures fell, which together with operating cash flow demonstrates that Range is generating substantially more cash while spending less to do it.

All of this arrives as Range prepares to merge with EQT Corporation. CEO Dennis Degner said the company expects to exit 2026 in the strongest financial position in its history and described the EQT deal as a natural next step that will deliver improved market access, deep inventory, and enhanced cash flow generation. Range will not host a conference call this quarter specifically because of the pending transaction, which removes one of the usual sources of forward guidance and color for investors tracking the story.
Range has beaten consensus in seven of the past nine quarters, with only Q2 2026 falling short of estimates. That single miss now looks like an outlier given the rebound this quarter. With the merger timeline and shareholder vote still ahead, the operational strength reported here sets the terms of the negotiation from a position of unusual balance-sheet health.
