Cipher Digital's 13.1% drop was the deepest cut in a 385-name priority list at the close. Refiners and Oracle took the other side.
SentinelOne cleared its October 2 peak with a fresh 52-week high at $25.43, 1.48% above the prior mark. That is roughly double where the cybersecurity name traded at its March low, and the breakout is now the reference level to watch.
Nineteen stocks cleared fresh 52-week highs this week, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise led the pack by topping its prior peak by 9.2% at $69.33. ASE Technology, AMC, Moderna and a cluster of security names including CrowdStrike and Palo Alto Networks also broke out.
Seven names hit fresh 52-week highs this week, and AMD cleared its prior peak by 8.6%. Cloudflare and Rubrik followed at roughly 7% above their old marks, with Apple just barely in at 0.29%.
Chips and hardware took the top five slots at Thursday's close, led by ON Semiconductor's 5.52% gain, while every big decliner but one was a cybersecurity name. Zscaler's 9.88% drop to $193.43 was the worst in the group.
SentinelOne just set a fresh 52-week high at $23.85, edging past its August 13 peak and nearly doubling off the $12.75 low it touched in April. The $8.2 billion cybersecurity name has quietly reclaimed every dollar it lost over the past year.
Tempus AI closed the session up 10.5%, the only double-digit move among 111 tracked names. The downside was deeper and broader: Axon, Cava and Clover Health all gave up more than 9%.
Zscaler finished Monday up 16.8% at $192.17 while Coherent shed 12.5%. Four of the top five gainers are cybersecurity names, and four of the five losers are chip and infrastructure plays.
A 10.3% intraday jump to $22.75 tacks roughly $700 million onto a $7.8 billion market cap in a single session. Moves this big are rare for a name this size, so keep an eye on whether it holds into the close.
A 22.5% close for a company Salesforce's size almost never happens, and four of the five top gainers were cybersecurity names posting double-digit gains. The downside was tame by comparison: Expedia led decliners at just under 5%.
Six names hit fresh 52-week highs this week: SentinelOne led at 6.14% above its prior peak, with Coca-Cola, Expedia, Airbnb, AbbVie and Pfizer all clearing old ceilings too.
