T-Mobile posted third-quarter 2026 GAAP earnings of $3.22 per share, exceeding expectations even after absorbing UScellular merger-related costs, retail store closure charges, and network restructuring costs.

Revenue of $23.58 billion rose 7.4% year over year, ahead of the analyst estimate, powered by postpaid service revenue growth, higher revenue per account from rate plan modernization, and stronger equipment sales.

Cash generation is the number that matters with SpaceX reportedly aiming to build a fourth national wireless carrier: Adjusted Free Cash Flow reached $5.07 billion for the quarter, up 5% year over year.

Management lifted its full-year 2026 Adjusted Free Cash Flow guidance to a range of $18.70 to $18.80 billion, raised the stockholder return authorization to $18.2 billion, and declared a quarterly dividend of $1.17 per share.

Postpaid account churn ticked up to 1.09%, partly tied to broadband-only account losses and disruption from rate plan modernization. Debt levels keep the pace of cash generation central to the investment case as the UScellular integration continues.
