ASML's ex-dividend date fell on October 27, so investors who held shares through that date are locked in to receive $2.11 per share when the payment lands on November 4, one of the larger single-day semiconductor payouts on the calendar.
The scale of this distribution puts it in a category of its own on the day. Every other company paying dividends on the same ex-date is effectively a rounding error by comparison, with the next closest payer, DeFi Development, distributing a total of $52,529 across all its shareholders.

DeFi Development's payout works out to roughly half a cent per share, with its payment arriving a day earlier on October 28, leaving today's dividend dollars concentrated in a single name.
For income-focused investors, the November 4 settlement date is the number to keep in mind. Anyone who was not already on the books as of October 27 will need to wait for the next dividend cycle to participate in a payout of this size.
