Thomson Reuters posted adjusted earnings per share of $0.99 for its second quarter of 2026, beating expectations for the fourth consecutive quarter.

Revenue of $1.95 billion beat expectations and grew roughly 9.5% from the same quarter a year earlier, led by the Legal Professionals segment.

On October 1, Thomson Reuters completed the sale of a 51% stake in its Global Print business to KKR, forming the Westbridge Print joint venture. With Global Print now treated as discontinued operations, the $1.84 billion in continuing-operations revenue is the baseline investors should use going forward.

Management expects the KKR transaction to be roughly neutral to adjusted EBITDA margin and to add 60 to 70 basis points to annual organic revenue growth once the royalty and transition arrangements take full effect starting in Q4 2026.

For Q3 2026, Thomson Reuters is guiding to approximately 9% organic revenue growth on a continuing-operations basis, with a revised full-year outlook due alongside third-quarter results on November 3.
