At a $5.7 billion market cap, Trade Desk has dropped out of mid-cap territory, a reclassification that can trigger forced selling from funds with large-cap mandates and shrink the stock's presence in widely followed indexes.
The fresh low landed 3% below the prior 52-week bottom set on August 7, so sellers remain in control and the old floor offered no support.
