Schwab Dual-Lists on the Texas Stock Exchange, and ETFs Are Following

As seen on the 24/7 Wall St. homepage on October 1, 2026.

A brokerage of Schwab's size dual listing on the Texas Stock Exchange turns Y'all Street from a novelty into a listings threat NYSE and Nasdaq have to answer.

CHOOSIN' TEXAS: Schwab to dual list on the new Texas stock exchange, which has also drawn a few ETFs with more to come I'm sure.. (now the song is stuck in my head, but that's ok, I really like it, even if it isn't my preferred genre) https://t.co/JPLF5DMgqI

Schwab's decision to dual-list on the Texas Stock Exchange is the clearest signal yet that Y'all Street is no longer a novelty. When a brokerage of Schwab's scale puts its name on a new venue, it gives that exchange the kind of institutional credibility that smaller entrants simply cannot manufacture on their own.

ETFs have also begun landing on the exchange, and Bloomberg Intelligence's Eric Balchunas expects more to follow. The roster of listed products is now visibly building.

For NYSE and Nasdaq, a dual-listed Schwab alongside a growing ETF slate is a different competitive conversation than the one they were having a year ago. The Texas exchange is starting to capture listings.

Balchunas flagged the development on October 1, 2026, noting the exchange has drawn a few ETFs with more to come. Investors treating this story as regional color should reconsider how seriously the established exchanges are being forced to take it.
