How Far Each Major Asset Has Fallen From Its All-Time High

As seen on the 24/7 Wall St. homepage on October 25, 2026.

The index is barely dented at 3% off its high while Netflix sits 51% below its own, so this correction is punishing where you own it rather than across the market overall.

The S&P 500 sitting just 3% off its record looks like a calm market, but that figure masks enormous variation in where the pain is landing. Apple is barely below its peak while Netflix and Ethereum have each given up more than half their value.

The spread between the index and its most prominent members tells a story about concentration. Nvidia, Amazon and Meta are all nursing double-digit drawdowns the broad index does not reflect.

The crypto and meme-coin end of the list is in a different category entirely. Bitcoin is 36% off its high, and Dogecoin, Trump Coin and Melania Coin have given back nearly everything they gained on momentum alone.

Gold, often treated as a haven, is itself 29% below its all-time high, putting it in the same neighborhood as Tesla and SpaceX. The correction is uneven, so where an investor chose to own risk matters right now.
